    The George James Community Center, Inc. is available to our community for rental activities.

      The George James Community Center operates on membership fees, donations and functions fees.

     The Center has two floors and both floors are available for rent. The Main Hall (1st floor) capacity is 75 people and has a kitchen to be used for warming "ONLY, ladies and gentlemen restroom, TV in main hall and a foyer.  The second floor capacity is 60 people and offers a meeting room, game room with TV and a small book area adjacent to the stairway.

Come by, take a tour of the center and plan your next function with us and see your community participation at work.  Some of the prior events have been:

John Slaughter is the project manager for the center's renovations. He is always taking care of whatever is required. Rev. Frank Lewis is discussing some of the changes with John.   The Center also has an outdoor pavilion 
   which is available in the spring/summer.
   We improving the grounds for entertainment features (horse shoe pit, badminton and volley ball). Other small outdoor games can be set up by the rental group.

Let us know your needs and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.  We also make our facility available to our surrounding communities to host special functions.
